Inherited Curse
I carefully surveyed the exterior of the dark and bewitching house that I had inherited from my recently deceased grandmother. The once cornflower blue panelling, was putrid, and now clutched the house desperately with its splintered fingers. The door hung askew on its rusted and decaying hinges, an intangible breeze, causing it to sway, making an unnatural raspy sound, as the hinges ground together. The yellowed net curtains obstructed my view of the house's interior, creating an air of obscurity. I took a cautious step towards the festering wooden steps with sharp prongs of rotten wood poking up in various obscure directions. I listened- my
